Better Collective is a Danish founded, international award-winning, sports betting affiliate company that works to give players a better and more secure betting experience. Our recent strategic expansion includes partnering with top tier media, such as and the, to help build their own sections dedicated to educative sports and sports betting content. 

We are aiming to increase the number of these partnerships over time, and we are looking for an Editor in Chief to help us scale out our digital newsroom across the US market. 


At Better Collective, we aim to make sports betting and gambling entertaining, transparent and fair. We are dedicated to helping and guiding the users in a complex and rapid growing market.

We are looking to team up with a number of strong US media to bring the best in commercial sports betting and casino content to the US market and to help educate the US bettors on sports betting.

Each US state is considered a unique market. We are looking to work with both national, regional and local media, with a clear focus on the states where online sports betting is already legalized.

In September 2019 we announced our first US partnership with NJ Advance Media and, the leading news site of New Jersey, and in the UK we have recently announced a partnership with the flagship media The Daily Telegraph.


We need a proven leader who has a documented history of working within the US sports industry, with knowledge and interest in the US sports landscape and the habits sports bettors. You will be coordinating our US Media Sites Team, consisting of journalists and SEO experts, to provide the strongest and most relevant content to our media partners. Your experience is rooted in creating successful digital content that is both educational for your readers and high performing in the eyes of search engines.

You will report directly to the Better Collective’s Director of Group Media as you manage your team and liaise directly with the stakeholders of our established and potential media partners. You will work closely with a variety of experts on subjects such as SEO, Digital Intelligence, and Development in order to improve your teams’ content and content strategy. 

The position will be based out of our New York Office in Manhattan. 


  • You will be responsible for all editorial content output of Media Sites US, and ensure that we are compliant with all local laws and the journalistic standards and ethics of each US media partnership.

  • You will assist in building a strong US presence with top journalistic & SEO talent.

  • Manage and grow our US Media Sites team and make sure we perform (KPI's = Google Rankings, conversion rate, number of new players sent to the operators)

  • You will work closely with our SEO lead to secure top Google rankings for the keywords most valuable to our company. (Though not a demand) Preferably the right candidate is familiar with tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizer, Data Studio, tag Manager, Hotjar, SEM Rush, Moz and Tableau.

  • Knowledge on how to make best in class digital content (+ audio, + video, + infographics etc.) and know how to grow and build an audience for it. 

  • Has strong collaboration skills and can establish strong ties and good partnerships with our other US entities such as the and

  • Local budget and personnel responsibility for US Media Sites.
